Handy but no online updates

Handy for quickly determining your nearest station and when the next train(s) is due to arrive. Very handy "at a glance" if youre a visual person, since it uses the same map thats at all the stations and on all the transit vehicles.

The app seems to take into account weekends and holidays properly, but does not appear to factor in modified schedules (due to service disruptions or maintenance). This "nice to have" would obviously depend on LA Metro publishing live schedule changes in a way that the app developer can digest, of course.

The app also does not modify its timetables on-the-fly. In other words, if/when Metro publishes a new schedule, the app will require an update in order to stay accurate.

Still, I rely on this every day and it works great on my iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0.1
